Plymouth College

The Plymouth College/Plymouth Leander partnership was initiated in September 2001 and, since this time the club and college have worked together to develop one of the country's leading swimming programmes.

Plymouth College, through its sporting scholarship scheme, has attracted talented athletes from far and wide - and is now able to name Olympic and World champions as well as World, European and Commonwealth record holders among its alumni.

Our Head Coach Robin and Deputy Head Coach Roberto run the Plymouth College swimming programme.

Among notable former students are London 2012 gold medallist Ruta Meilutyte - who was a 15 year old pupil at Plymouth College when she became Olympic champion. Also, current 50 fly World Champion Ben Proud; and current 10 m platform diving world champion Tom Daley

Plymouth College is a co-educational independent school for day and boarding pupils from the ages of 3 to 18.
