Christopher Lee

Head of National Development

Chris returns to PL after a stint developing his coaching skills at Portsmouth Northsea Swimming Club. As a competitive swimmer with Plymouth Leander, he was a finalist at British Nationals while studying for a degree in architecture. His coaching career began as a volunteer, helping out with the #bluearmy's junior squads and working with both regional and county development squads. Having gained experience elsewhere he is now back as the club's lead coach for those squads.

Being able to inspire and affect the lives of the younger generation is something that really motivates me - pushing athletes to the limit to help them become the best they can be in and out of the pool! I strive to be a swimming coach who is dedicated, enthusiastic and passionate about achieving the highest results.
